

About Hajj in Islam is the pilgrimage of Muslims to the city of Mecca at a specific season every year. It has specific rituals called Hajj rituals, and it is a once-in-a-lifetime duty for every able-bodied adult Muslim. It is the fifth pillar of Islam, according to the words of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: “Islam is built on five things: testifying that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, establishing prayer, paying zakat, fasting Ramadan, and the Hajj to the House for whoever is able to make a way to it.” Hajj is an individual obligation for every able-bodied adult Muslim, as stated in the Qur’an: “And announce to the people
